Many people often inquire as to where Saint Kitts is. Saint Christopher, affectionately known as Saint Kitts, is one of two islands in a federation with its sister island Nevis. Both islands are part of the West Indies in the Leeward Islands, which are part of the Lesser Antilles in the Eastern Caribbean.
From the moment our flight landed on the lush tropical island, we noticed how friendly the people of Saint Kitts are. Kittians are very outgoing and genuinely concerned about making sure that guests feel welcome.

Once we departed the airport, we were off to the far end of the island for our stay at the Park Hyatt St. Kitts via private transfer. St. Kitts has very modern roads, and the drive was approximately twenty-five minutes. The large circular driveway opens to a wide pathway which takes you over very well-stocked Koi ponds and opens to an unobstructed view of the island of Nevis. To your left is the small but well-appointed and thankfully air-conditioned lobby. Many guests actually arrive by boat at the private pier located on the property. No matter how you arrive, the staff is waiting with welcome drinks, cold towels, and a smile to assist you to your room.
The Park Hyatt offers a wide variety of accommodations, making it an excellent choice for couples, families, and groups. From 527-square-foot rooms to bi-level penthouses spanning around 2,100 square feet, and even three-bedroom villas exceeding 5,000 square feet, they cater to everyone's needs. Within the Park Hyatt premises, guests can enjoy the Sugar Mill Spa and Sanctuary, a full-service spa covering 37,000 square feet with nine treatment rooms offering a variety of services. Additionally, Park Hyatt provides pickleball courts and lessons, cooking classes, yoga sessions, snorkeling activities, and a kids' fort to entertain the little ones.
On-site dining options vary from the laid-back Ramparts Pool bar by the pool, offering pub-style dishes, to the upscale Stone Bar for adults only. The Fisherman's village provides both indoor and outdoor dining by the pier, boasting breathtaking views of Nevis. Additionally, they feature a spacious rectangular bar where guests can enjoy stargazing while listening to the steel drum band. The Fisherman's village and the adjacent great lawn, illuminated by beautifully lit palm trees, create a perfect backdrop for weddings or corporate retreats.
