I just recently returned from a private luxury adventure to the amazing Caribbean island of St. Lucia.

They offer a fast-track system for those of us who want to speed through customs & immigration so we can maximize our beach time. The service is very professional and it's definitely a service we will be using again.
Just beyond the customs/immigration area, our private car transfer was waiting for us. Our drive up the coast of St. Lucia was beautiful. Our driver took us through some of the small towns and lush rain forest landscape of St. Lucia. He stopped at a hilltop roadside restaurant for us to take photos of the horseshoe-shaped harbor below. The sweeping ocean and village views make you appreciate the natural beauty of St. Lucia. I grabbed a quick drink, and we were off again through the winding roads that make you feel like you are immersed in the rain forest.
You arrive at a large but very secluded complex set on a cove beach. Hideaway by Royalton Resorts is an adult-only, all-inclusive resort that has a separate entrance and facilities from the Royalton St Lucia, which is family-friendly. Adults staying at Hideaway may use all the amenities of both resorts.
Diamond Club guests have additional amenities such as separate check-in, a private lounge with a fully stocked open bar all day, light meal service that is refreshed every few hours, priority dining reservations, and butler service. These are just a few of the luxury services that Diamond Club guests receive.
Our balcony opened up to a full view of the private cove beach on which the resorts are situated.
The sunset cocktails from our fully stocked mini-bar cannot be matched. Your butler will customize your mini-bar with wine, beer, soda, water, juices, and snacks of your choice.
With multiple pools, some of which are infinity edge pools, swim-up bars, hot tubs, and a splash zone for the children, Royalton is also a big hit with families. Families also have access to a supervised children's club with activities for children ages 4-17. Teens and tweens have separate areas and events to ensure everyone is happy. They can also arrange private sitters so mom and dad can have a date night.
Great options for dining, from a buffet that consists mostly of individual stations that accommodate vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free diets to the luxurious full-service Hunter's Steakhouse.
For some entertainment with dinner, plan on visiting Zen for creatively prepared dishes including Teppanyaki and Sushi. I always have lots of fun watching the chefs and walk away stuffed.
Those looking for a late-night snack should check out the sports bar - karaoke, bands, pool tables, and a full gastro pub menu until 2 am or later.
Never a shortage of great dining options, the children's splash area even has a food truck with all the staples and daily specials, with covered outdoor dining.
These resorts would make a wonderful choice for a honeymoon or a destination wedding.
