Situated above Dieppe Bay and at the foot of Mount Liamuiga in Saint Kitts, there is a truly unique resort, Belle Mont Sanctuary Resort. Accessible via a winding road shaded by a canopy of trees from the 400-acre organic farm, the Belle Mont Sanctuary Resort features cottages and villas designed by the renowned architect Bill Bensley. Upon arrival at the secluded circular driveway, you are greeted by a dark stone structure resembling an aqueduct castle. Passing through the arches, you enter a courtyard area housing an infinity-edge pool with stunning views of neighboring Caribbean islands, an outdoor bar, and dining facilities. Adjacent to the courtyard in the great house, you will find a state-of-the-art fitness center, The Kitchen restaurant, and a sugar mill tower that serves as a distinctive bar.
The Kitchen restaurant serves breakfast and dinner daily. For lunch, guests can choose between room service in their cottage/villa or dining at the poolside restaurant/bar named The Lookout, which offers stunning views of Saba, St. Eustatius, St. Maarten, and St. Barts, making it a perfect spot for sunset cocktails. All produce, herbs, spices, meats, and seafood are either sourced from the resort's farm or locally.
Accommodations at the resort range from one-bedroom cottages with king-sized beds to four-bedroom private villas. Secluded one-bedroom cottages are fully equipped with organic toiletries, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and room service. They also offer unique amenities such as outdoor claw-foot tubs and private plunge pools. An intriguing feature is the projector on the ceiling with a retractable screen that can cover the double veranda doors, enabling guests to watch movies from the king-sized bed or sofa.
The two-story villa with four bedrooms offers a variety of bed options, each accompanied by its own en-suite master bathroom. These bathrooms feature bronze deep soaking tubs, ample closet space, and separate indoor and outdoor showers. Two bedrooms are located on the upper floor, while the other two have individual entrances connected to the main villa. The villa boasts a spacious, modern kitchen equipped with high-end appliances, lofty vaulted ceilings, and ample room for relaxation and socializing. Outside, there is a generously sized pool, an outdoor kitchen, and a dining area.
The farmhouse offers a distinctive feature by allowing guests to stay together while having individual cottages for each of the four bedrooms, ensuring increased privacy. With the ability to host up to 8 guests, this private farmhouse is perfect for couples, groups of friends, or family gatherings. Additionally, small wedding parties have utilized the venue, relishing the stunning vistas from the private infinity pool, creating an ideal backdrop for their memorable occasion.
